I really enjoyed listening to the story. I enjoyed the storyline, and the plots and twists that came along with it. The story is told in dual POV, Emma and Aiden.
Emma is the main female character and her story is heartbreaking and fascinating. She’s been abandoned twice and I was eager to find out why on both occasions. There are two possible love interests, but honestly the reader knows that there is really on one love. Overall, I enjoyed seeing how Emma realized how much she changed and is making changes to live her own life and be herself more.
The mystery kept me intrigued and I loved the friends she was making in college. I really loved the witches and I was excited to meet more witches. I’m very eager to see what happens next.
The narrator, Felicity Munroe has a southern twang, and I felt like she did well portraying Emma. She used a variety of inflections and tones for other characters. It was easy for me to follow along. Looking forward to listening to the next installment.
