The demon invaders would reach Earth in a few short years, so why did it seem like humans were determined to destroy themselves before the enemy arrived?

World War III was going to happen. It was only a matter of when.

Nathanial Kane had enough to worry about, but the death of a billion people wasn't something he could ignore.

His allies were growing in number. Involving them would endanger them before they'd fully developed. The world would need their talents when the demons arrived.

What can one man do? Was it possible for him to advance far enough and fast enough to make a difference?

He was about to reach a realm where he'd have to develop his kit. There were countless martial techniques to choose from, and he'd have to decide on what type of qi to cultivate. Even as a simple Body Cultivator, the possibilities were almost endless.

Join Nathan as he puts it all on the line to save as many lives as possible, whether they like it or not.

the story is starting to come together very well. mc is strong, isn't a simp and doesn't White knight which is all someone who loves this genre can ask for

better than the first

while most mc's keep a lid on their power or knowledge by plot convenient gate keeping or a dumb fake name, this guy just goes full tilt from day one because he legit has no time for games. He's not overpowered, he ain't got a perfect memory/chronology of his past life, he just has what he has and the common sense to keep things legitimate.

Crouching moron hidden badass mcs are quaking in their boots at a man who can talk to women, famous people, and tell the truth.
He has a decade to do the impossible and he'll be damned if he doesn't try to do it. The best regressor MC I've seen yet. Also, love the heavy focus on cultivation over the system as opposed to what usually happens in the typical cultivation system split. Also also, I'm heavily hoping that his blacksmith friend can help out his concept cultivation by well, making alloys and chi infused metals. (And if you get this far reading, the other guy's review is off base fr fr, our mc didn't go with any superpower in book one to my memory, just his cultivation, blood thing, organ stuff, and fire something)

Realistic in the funnest way possible.

One of my favorite new series. I strongly recommend. Will definitely be buying the next when it drops.

Another selfless moron. Only in a fantasy world can someone afford to not only help his family and friends but the whole world and still have plenty left for themselves. This scenario happens a lot to heroes and long story short, this person loses everything. It’s great to see everything works out for him but it’s hard to get behind, especially with how selfless he acts! A real saint this one. Being humble is great but at some point it’s just asinine. It’s really quite funny that Nathan’s enemies got all their gear from materials Nathan provided! You can’t control what other people do, but you can choose not to arm them, and his energy would be much better spent on his own power and strengthening his allies. In the end hero’s are never appreciated, they are feared.

Honestly I thought when the fairy offered him a reward he would choose the points option to give them to his buddies. Imagine my surprise when he took a reward for himself. Selfish bastard! I understand why he didn’t get the flight ability but why not teleportation!? Movement technique vs teleportation..also why does his super speed seem to be overlooked pretty much since he bought it. Why does someone need movement techniques when they have super speed??

Selfless moron
