Two lost boys. Two long years. One path back to each other.

Elian has lost two major anchors in his life, and he can’t figure out how to get back on track, so he takes to the rails, trying to outrun his struggles. The farther he runs, the deeper he sinks, losing himself more and more until a random phone call reminds him, he isn’t as alone as he thought. There is someone out there who still cares—Tyler.

Two years ago, Tyler lost more than his best friend. He lost the other half of his heart. He knows Elian’s struggles, and he now knows Elian is alive. When his rider friends offer to help, he’s hesitant. They don’t know as much about Elian as they should, and it’s Tyler’s fault for shutting them out. Too many people might scare Elian off.
Besides, how can he explain to his friends his desperation to find Elian when his feelings are so new and unexplored?
Tyler is convinced he only needs one person to mend his wounded heart—Elian.

Lost at the Crossing is a new adult gay romance story of first love between two inexperienced boys. It’s a story of found family and lifelong friendships. It explores tropes including hurt/comfort, friends-to-lovers, two virgins, second chance romance, and demisexual awakening. It has angst. Let’s be honest, it’s me. It’s inevitable. Lost at the Crossing is the second audiobook in the Rail Riders series. It can be listened to as a standalone but may be better enjoyed after listening to End of the Line.

I enjoyed it, great sequel to the Rail Riders. I love this author's writing, her characters are so unique, damaged in some way and beautiful in many others. Nicky is so good at portraying lost boys and how they find each other through so many life struggles and hardships. I wanted Tyler's and Elian's story ever since I listened to the first book, I wanted Tyler to get a happy ending so much and it was a very satufying ending to their story. Narrator did a great job telling this story and giving voices to all the characters. Loved this book and the series.

Tyler hasn't heard from his friend and fellow rail rider Elian in a long time. He's deeply concerned and not about to give up his search.

I was overjoyed when Tyler found his friend. My heart ached for Elian and his daily struggles. I loved that there was no judgement from Tyler, only patience, love and care.

I loved how these men were bought to life and I felt a great connection with both of them. They were super sweet together.

The found family the pair and their group of friends and fellow rail riders has formed is one of trust, support and love.

I'm really enjoying this series and I look forward to Dodger's story.

Nick is doong a fabulous job bringing this series to life making me feel like I am right on the rails with them all

Found family. Let’s talk about these rail riders and How they are there for each other when one needs help or in trouble.

Tyler has been searching for Elian for two years now and is going down a slippery slope. He is obsessed with finding Elian.

Elian is lost. Both physically from his friend and mentally. His friendship with Tyler is one thing that helps keep him together.

Their story is about survival, strength, and family. Elian finds the courage he needs to do what he needs to do to be all he can be for Tyler in the future. He is so courageous.

I love this family. Willow is fierce. Dodger cracks me up. Killian and Leo are still amazing. I can’t wait for Dodger who is up next.

Kudos Nicky on this amazing series
