I love this series!

I think these stories are so sweet and cute. This is a great beginning to the series.

surprisingly sweet!

I didn’t know what to expect with this read but I really liked it! The characters are great and the game show/fated mates aspect was handled well

it’s a fun low-angst rom-com-esque book. narrator is great too with very distinct voices and spot-on delivery

Sweet and original

This was a super fun story and perfect to lighten up a hard week and the winter blues. Even though the game show theme was a bit silly, the story acknowledges that and it makes for a fun and original plot line. I also appreciated that there was more dialogue and action than internal lamenting/debating by the main characters. The narration was on point and added to the fun, particularly the game show host’s voice.

I LOOOVED the on point voices for each character. I loved the plot, characters and story played into this. I had loads(!) of fun listening to this at night and staying up 😎 I definitely recommend this, totally worth it. Can't wait to read Book 2 when my next credit coooome ⭐

Positive book with happy ending

So many books are depressing so I really enjoyed it for being light hearted. I like all the characters but my favorite characters are barely in the book, I wish to hear more about them but oh well. I don’t usually enjoy modern settings and the narrator made one of the characters sound annoying but did well with all the other ones, most people wouldn’t care about those things though. It is an insta lust type romance and is a bit on the nose, I may have rolled my eyes while listening to a couple parts but even though the story is not deep it was enjoyable. I don’t feel like I wasted a credit but I probably wouldn’t say this was good enough to go on my bookshelf. I’ll keep it as an audiobook to listen to whenever I want a quick lighthearted story. I’ll try some more books from this author

Good idea bad execution

The writing is not good; dialogue is clunky, characters are annoying, and the whole premise was not developed well. It’s an interesting idea but done badly. The narration does not help.
