The Tutorial rages on. At its heart, the infinite darkness remains its death zone.

Having defeated his enemies and grown stronger, Michael must continue to struggle desperately to become even greater. His own survival and that of everyone he loves depends on it.

His true enemies are the Gods of War who hunted down the Dragons. If they find out about his existence and bloodline, his death is guaranteed.

To survive what's coming, Michael must enter the Consumed Territory, knowing he not only will risk his life against the strongest enemies in the Tutorial, but will also face inevitable pain and injuries beyond anything he's ever experienced. The Forgotten are unforgiving.

However, something in the Abyss recognizes him. What awaits in its depths, the very center of the Consumed Territory?

Follow Michael as he unravels the mysteries of his bloodline in Book 2 of this action-packed LitRPG Apocalypse perfect for fans of The Primal Hunter, 1% Lifesteal, and Hell Difficulty Tutorial!

the bones of a good story are present but the writing is disjointed and off putting in many areas. as the story went on, I started to believe this was a translation of a Chinese webnovel but the writing is just that bad.

I like the premise, but hate the execution

I was fine and it was good enough if a bit blah, until the last half and the end. All logic went out the window and the MC got serious ADHD.
Like he would make a goal set out, start it then immediately stop to do something else. He does this for the last 5 hours of the book. Over and over.
Then he makes a stupid choice not to kill this infestation enemy so the people will have something to level on, smart? NOO becuase they have tons of dungeon and a huge underground scaling level dungeon. There is literally no reason not to kill the infestation unless it's a future plot point we dont know about that the author had to jam in there with no logic in it. Not only does he stop making sense his whole , I cant tell you thing is more suspicious if he just said he had to grow stronger because he know the aliens will enslave people. Simple easy half truth. No reason to constantly give that stupid, I cant say answer.

Honestly at this point it's pretty obvious the mom out of worry and ignorance will seek out the gods for help or join thier faction and unintentionally out her son due to him being so silent.

Good until the end

Even though I saw the same issues with Book 1, I decided to give this book a try in hopes the writing would improve. I liked the overall premise of the story and really wanted to like the books, but unfortunately the bad pacing, poor writing, forced moral issues and just plain incompetence of the MC just made this book a chore to finish.

Disappointing
