The apocalypse happened. Portals appeared. Zombies attacked. Everyone got sucked in.

Welcome to Initiation.

Regrettably, I have been forced to bring you here against your will… The universe is at war.

Your fiction speaks of demigods, monsters, superheroes, warriors that defy all odds, and cultivators. If you can imagine it, my Divine Genetic Modification Program makes it possible. However, power is always achieved through progress. Not all at once. If you've dreamed of flying, you'll soar throughout the heavens. Super strength? You'll crush boulders with your bare hands. What you call magic, regardless of how your culture envisions it, will be at your fingertips. My only advice is to dream bigger. Your concept of power is severely inadequate.

Nathanial Kane had read it all before.

It said they had centuries. The demons arrived in ten years.

He'd been counted among the strongest. It had all been for nothing.

He'd witnessed Earth's end.

While dying, Nathan reviewed the only unique spell he'd ever found in the tower.

He cast Rebirth.

Being used to 20-30 hour books, this 11 hour was too short for my normal tastes. Its why I skipped buying it before.
Yet its pace is good for those 11 hours. Where other books take forever to do anything, this one is to the point and goes for its goals.
It was good.
Narrator was good but I dont know if its how its spelt in the book but he pronounces MOB as mowahbah, instead if the normal gamer term of Mawbah, as in a monster MOB..or maybe its some unique to the series spelling. Funny tho.

Short but good

Guy goes back on time and doesn’t keep it a secret! Kinda makes all the other secret keepers seem silly. We’ll see how the story goes but a good book one.

Solid pick

Took a gamble on this series and ended really loving it. Will definitely be buying the next book.

my only complaint was that it was not longer. I very much hope that the series continues somewhat quickly.

fantastic.

Narration was excellent, and the story took a refreshing approach compared to most cultivation titles. I genuinely enjoyed it. My only complaint is that it felt too short — but only because I was having such a good time with it. If the author can keep this vibe going and avoid the unnecessary drama so many series fall into, this is going to be a great run. Highly recommend Book 1.

5* and I don't give many if any
