Onyx Cage: Volume I

A Lochlann Feuds Companion Novel (The Lochlann Feuds, Book 5)

De: Robin D. Mahle, Elle Madison

Narrado por: Adam Gold

I had spent a lifetime perfecting the art of planning ahead, accounting for every known variable and a few that were mere speculation. It was necessary, to live the life I had, to do the things I had done and come out on the other side.

So by the time I arrived at the storms-forsaken Summit, I had spent every day of the years prior carefully, meticulously assessing each situation and weighing the best potential outcome, knowing that my clansmen lived and died on my ability to do it well.

In spite of that, I don’t believe there was anything in this world or the next that could have prepared me for her Volume I will cover the first two books of the Lochlann Feuds series from Evander’s perspective. It is strongly encouraged for listeners to wait until *after* Lochlann Feuds to listen to this companion novel.

Just when I think I couldn't love my favorite series more...

This a companion book to my favorite series Lochlann Feuds. It gives the main male character's point of view. It is such a gift from the authors and makes the world so much richer. Read Lochlann Feuds first or better yet read the two together. This volume covers the first two books in the series. Volume ll comes out in November and covers the last two books.
Update Feb 2026 Narrators simply don't get better than Adam Gold! His rich deep voice brings Evander to life. I'll be listening on repeat : ) Can't wait for Vol ll to also come out in audiobook!

Onyx Cage vol 1

I loved it! Can't wait for the audible for vol 2...reading it now! it's great having Evander's views!

Can’t get enough

Love this, hearing his side and perspective is a fresh look at one of my favorite series. Can’t wait to hear part 2!

Wonderful addition to The Lochlann Feuds

The Lochlann Feuds is my Roman Empire. I honestly didn't think I could love it more, until Onxy Cage was added to the line up! Onxy Cage is from the MMC's POV. And let me tell you, it was EVERYTHING to get into his head.
Adam Gold absolutely nailed it! His voice IS the voice of this man! This Audiobook is amazing (as are all of the main books' audios).
If you've not read it or listened to it (highly recommend all the audios), you're missing out on one of the very best stories you'll ever read!
Van Van, Lord Stenvall, Lord Aalio, Lord Arseling, Evander will be my number one book boyfriend forever. A few have gotten close, almost passed him, but none have succeeded... Onyx Cage is 😘 *chef's kiss*!!

Part of the best romantasy of them all…

This series is so fabulous that no romantasy even comes close. Such delicious slow burn. So much passion… so well written, fabulously funny, deeply moving and the very best performers known to audio books: this book’s Adam Gold is the most exciting voice performer of the day.
