Audiobook Thoughts: This dual narration audiobook is voiced by Jacci Prior and Benjamin Crow, the same narrators who performed book one of this series. The pacing and voice variations (especially for the numerous male MCs) were absolutely perfect and I found myself drawn in to the extent I forgot I was reading.

The Lovely: I loved that this book was an emotional roller coaster ride - pain, sadness, giggles, love and frustration. There’s so much tension, not just in the situation, but between the characters as well. And the poor FMC - she’s already been through so much and it doesn’t let up even a little bit in this book. I feel for her and love when the MMCs try to make things at least a little better for her.

Recommendation: Cliffhanger alert! I won’t spoil anything but I have a favorite MMC and the ending had me a nervous wreck. Honestly, still a wreck over him. But, I do love a book where I can connect with the characters emotionally so I did sorta set myself up for this. If you’re looking for a why choose fantasy romance with an epic plot and all the emotional feels, I think you’d like this series.
