Six weeks.

That's how long my editor gave me to change my book from a baseball romance to one about hockey. A complete rewrite. Which is how I find myself in Montana, a thousand miles from home, researching hockey, and preparing to meet a local expert.

There's one small problem.

Or rather a big one. A big, grumpy problem.

My expert is none other than Nick Galaxy—the single dad and hockey captain I ran into minutes after landing in Montana and made a… well, let's just say I didn't make the best first impression. Neither did he, for that matter.

Deciphering his grunts will be nearly as hard as rewriting the entire book.

No matter, I'm up for the challenge.

Oh, and there's one other teeny, tiny thing. Minuscule really.

He has no idea that his dad has volunteered him to help or offered to let me stay in his guest cabin.

Love love love

I actually really love love love this story. Nick is quite literally so adorable. The big grumpy man who is actually a golden retriever inside and falls head over heels in love with the whimsical author. It’s just delicious. The spice is great. I could definitely use more of it. But I just absolutely love this story.

Two words Hockey Romance!!

I love a good hockey romance! Rebecca is amazing writer I love all her books but I think this one is officially at my top favorite!

Great story! I love Hockey Romance, and Rebecca Jenshak has the formula!

Ruby has a little bit of writer's block and a little problem. Her new publisher wants her to change her existing unpublished book from baseball to hockey. And Ruby is NOT sporty. So her agent finds her a vacation rental and a hockey player so she can learn the game.

Nick has no idea that Ruby's coming to stay for a while. But he knows there's something about her that he can't quite resist.

That's as much as I'm going to tell you about the story - it's funny, sweet, steamy, warm. Filled with plenty of moments with supportive friends and family. Very little in the 3rd act drama. It's well-written and I finished it in less than a day because I couldn't stand to put it down.

I’m a sucker for Rebecca Jenshak’s books and this one was no exception! I love a hockey player MMC and I feel like we got a glimpse at Rebecca herself as the FMC is a romance writer! So many swoon worthy moments and a few characters we’ve seen before! Must read ASAP
