No third act break up!

Wow this story was such a surprise! It was sooooooo sooooooo good. So romantic and spicy but a wonderful slow burn. This series is off to a great start with the first 2 books!

Their banter was so good. There is nothing that Nick wouldn't do for Luisa. It just took her a while to figure that out.

These lines had me giggling:
So sue me for throwing on a pair of gray sweatpants and hoping that all those magazine articles that Luisa graces the covers of were right about the mighty powers of this comfortable garment.
And
I’m lactose intolerant. As Luisa predicted, I usually take my coffee black. But I’ll deal with the repercussions, because from now on, I’ll take my coffee with a dash of milk. Just how my wife makes it.

I cannot wait for the next book.

Such a great story! The narrators were perfect, and I was smiling the whole time. As a Dominican, I loved all the little touches — sancocho, baseball, dominos, chisme, the loud family vibes — it all felt so real! Millie Perez is quickly becoming one of my faves.
