So many cliche static characters

I liked several of the characters but most of women and some of the men were cut and paste cliche characters showing that very little time was spent writing this. Having said that, they're overall plot and many of the sci-fi elements were engaging.

Fresh new story

I found this to be a new fresh story. This book can stand on its on but does leave some room to expand if the authors desire. I really enjoyed the narrator.

fun military scifi

Overall I enjoyed the book. Plenty of space fighter based combat, enough alien tech laying around to rain interesting, and an implacable foe and interesting twist.
Story could easily have been told in half this amount of time, but even then I enjoyed the ride. Four out of five stars.

Action packed from start to finish

Narration is excellent. Truly feels like different voice actors. Loved the premise. You can tell right from the start that it was meant to be a multi-book series. Lots of angles to be explored and surprised by. Flex and Ghost make a great partnership and it’s so appropriate for the AI-age.

Flex!

It's not often that I dislike a main character some much but Flex is just to much!
