THE STORY

Great book, a bit disappointed

Great book. Wish we saw some returning characters in this book. Great characters and I hope they can unite with Decimus in a crusade against the imperium

Nightlords being evil, chaos space marine duplicity.

An excellent tale of the Eighth Legion. Not quite on the level of ADB's Nightlord trilogy, but enjoyable from start to finish.

the story is not that deep, will not have a lot of follow up and relevance to the overall lore settings but the adventure and descriptions are suberb

Pretty good

As a Night Lords player & aficionado, I was very excited to get a new book, a new warband, new lore. This one is...pretty good. Not a classic, but not a stinker either. It's lighter on character development & story and heavier on "bolter porn" than I generally prefer. That said, it ends strong, and it's still worth the listen & purchase. It does at a minimum make me want to know how Danlchian's story ends...makes me want another book in the series. Voice actor does a great job throughout. 3.5/4 stars out of 5.

More Night Lords!

Well written characters that portray the Night Lords perfectly. Nails the back and forth dubious relationships of chaos space marines. Really good combat sections. A must read for chaos fans. Ave dominus nox!
