Gripping Drama

The narration was excellent. The presentation was more like a play with the distinctly individual voices of the characters.

Great second Audiobook

Book 2 delves deeper into the MCs fight for survival, growing power, and increasing the potential of his sorceresses. Can’t wait for book/audiobook 3. Nice cliffhanger.

Iris continues to be best girl

Much happened this book. One girl added, conspiracy theorists regarding underground lizard people proven right, and the Empire's worst audit.

And through it all, Iris is consistently not being a burden or changing plans unduly. She also gets to know the taste of Ash better than anyone else.

Too much conflict...

it just keep coming more and more. issue after issue .. all of them.requiring plot armor to survive. So stressful.. no basking in a win or advancement..small wins with immediate huge problems piling up.

wasn't fun after a point.. just powered through. Normally I want to self insert and think what I would do.. but here its so unrealistic .. sigh.

Once again enjoyable

So next time just dont use a premise if your never going to actually use it lol. The only Revolutionizing that gets done is from the empire. Not a fan of that ending either. kinda disappointed with this book. Narration carried this book hard.
