catching up...

loved catching up with the family. no "Happy ever after". very realistic update. liked forward to the next book.

This was an excellent story

I have listened to the entire series of dark Road, great series getting to know Ben and his family is a travel back from Maryland to Colorado was great. I really enjoyed it but when I got to the end, I was wondering what was gonna happen next. Then I found the Durango Chronicle great book I recommended to anybody who enjoyed dark roads. I can’t wait for the next book to come out and I hope Ben kicks those boys asses were taken Brad

The story flow is very good, makes you want to keep listening. Very well written.

This is an awesome series!

I really liked the Dark Road series and the continuation of the story in this new series is exciting. I like how the story kinda follows the trope of all the good guys having plot armor because sometimes you just want a happy ending. nowadays it seems like a lot of books (or at least ones I read) always kill off all the characters you like. I like a story where they can face hardship and just make it through. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

Excellent follow up to the Dark Road series .

Loved this book! The continuation of the Dark Road series has been great now if the next book will hurry up and come out so I can see How Ben, Joel and Allie eliminate this threat and get Brad home safe and sound!!!!

standing on business

I happened upon the Dark Road series while searching fir a new read.....I am HOOKED!!! I finished that and was excited to see the start of the Durango series. This first book was awesome...can't wait fur the next book.... Ben and the gang is about to kick major ass and I'll be right there with them. Bring it on!!! BRING IT ON!!!

So great. I am a Military father and This book is so painful but it is so good.

After listening to all of the first 15 books this one has definitely been my favorite. This book is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I was sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the book.

Excellent read (listen)

I really enjoyed the Dark Water series and was excited to see this spinoff. It was as good as the others. Now I just have to wait for the next installment!

Amazing spinoff!

On a whim I started Thr Dark Road series and was immediately impressed by the story and this is such a great continuation of the story!

Love it!

My only complaint is that the self talk is too long for me. Other than that, I really enjoyed the story.
