A little bit of everything

Callie Hart took the world we found in Quicksilver and used Brimstone to expand it tenfold. I love how many mystical creatures she incorporates and how much action is packed into this book. That being said, it constantly felt like we weren’t getting anywhere and SAERIS seems to lose herself a bit in this book. A lot is happening, and she doesn’t have time to process and understand it all, but still, there were times where she just felt, annoying, and I NEVER felt that way in Quicksilver. Further, I HATED the way one of our favorite “words” gets changed. I don’t want to spoil anything but…no. I do not accept this change at all.
The cliffhanger definitely has my interest peaked though. Did we just go from shadow daddy to wing leader ;)
Final thoughts: the spice was 💯 🤤

That ending!!! OMG next year is too far away! Absolutely brilliant twist to the story - I never saw it coming!

What just happened?

How did it go so quickly!? Excellence from beginning to end. Be prepared for the cliffhanger! The only negative is now I have to wait for book 3.
