While I'm not clear on where one gets an official copy of the girl code, it seems like "thou shalt not covet thy bestie's hot dad" would be pretty high on that list.

Even if my hormone-ridden peanut brain would love to read into every interaction we've ever had and imagine he's been pining away for me, too, my judgment is clearly not to be trusted here. It's time to move on.

Unfortunately, coveting is a hard condition to kick when you find yourself spending Christmas alone with him at his fancy house. It's even harder when you throw in the storm of the century, a mountain of snow where the driveway should be, and learning your best friend's father isn't quite as disinterested as you thought he was.

Now, the one thing I know for sure is this is a Christmas I'll never forget.

Who’s Ya Daddy!!!

I love a good forced proximity best friends daddy read and this one nailed it with all the things! Savannah Thomas did a phenomenal job with narration! I will most definitely recommend this book! My first Cleo White book but not my last! Can’t wait to start the second book!!

Quick Holiday Escape With All The Daddy Vibes

This audiobook was everything I love in a novella! An age-gap, workplace, forbidden romance with her best friend's dad, plus snowed in together over Christmas...um, YES, PLEASE! This novella has all the spice you expect from Cleo White with characters that are fun and easy to connect to. The humor had me laughing out loud!

It's easy to see that the next two books in the series will feature Bram's daughters and the set up for the second book (a Valentine's Day novella) is introduced at the end of Chilled and Thrilled. I've already read it in ebook format and have added it to my audiobook TBR!

Sophia is in love with Bram and Bram is in love with Sophia. Neither of them knows the other one's feelings because he is the father of her BFF. Then there's the forced proximity though and that's the end of hiding their feelings.

This is an ideal spicy novel for me. It's short, hot and just edgy enough. I will say that the age gap thing is hardly mentioned aside from his being her BFF's father. Instead, it's about 2 charismatic people who happen to find each other really attractive. It's about Bram sitting in a comfy chair, pulling himself out and saying "s*ck". Never thought a man named Bram would be so intensely agreeable.

Quick Read, Forced Proximity, Age Gap

All my favorite tropes, makes for a quick spicy read when you’re looking for something to break up the monotony of slow burn, world building fantasy series. It’s progresses rapidly and is great for the girls in it for the spice. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
