Cleo White as shot herself up my “favorite authors” list faster than almost anyone else I’ve come across in my romance book adventures.

I was beyond excited when I found out she was bringing some of them to audio - even more so when “Out Of Sight” was one of the first. It’s probably my favorite of hers, even though it’s almost impossible to pick.

The story, characters…. Just everything about it makes me keep coming back to it again and again.

An age-gap, close proximity romance set at a destination wedding in tropical Bora Bora, Out of Sight by @authorcleowhite was the perfect Tuesday afternoon mom taxi listen.

Isobel, the twenty-three year old sister of the bride, and Judah, the father of the groom, experience an undeniable attraction from the moment they meet on the resort shuttle. Add in family expectations Isobel cannot live up to, with callous and uncaring parents, this girl is in dire need of someone to see how wonderful she truly is. Daddy Judah is just what she needs.

Isobel’s parents are the characters you love to hate, while the rest of the cast was lovely. I particularly enjoyed seeing the relationship between Isobel and her sister blossom.

Jaclyn Kelso and James Cassidy were absolutely amazing! They brought each character to life with distinct voicing, inflection, and emotion. I was particularly drawn to the deep voice of Dr. Judah Hale as voiced by James Cassidy, but easily adapted to his character voiced by Jaclyn Kelso. To be honest, a character narrated by more than one voice actor can throw me off, but that was not the case with these talented artists!

With such an enjoyable listening experience, engaging characters, and the short duration of a novella, I know that this will be a go-to audiobook when I need a quick pick or want to finish a book in one sitting.

James Cassidy is my new favorite narrator ❤️. The story made me laugh, tear up, and smile. This is my first book by this author and definitely won’t be my last. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ instalove.

If you love a good age gap with hot daddy vibes, this book is for you. The immediate chemistry, the protectiveness, the story moves quickly but does not skip or lack in the spiciest of scenes. Juda is so damn sexy! This was a great quick listen with an amazing cast!!!

I’ve completely fallen down a delightful rabbit hole with this author, and trust me, I’m here for it! Don’t even try to pull me away. But seriously—Isobel and Judah are everything! I love watching her grow into her own strength and stand up for herself, and Judah’s fierce protection of her? Total swoon material. I’m all for a man who defends the woman he loves. The story is lighthearted, fun, and just the right amount of spicy. Perfect for a summer read—or really, anytime you want to escape into something that’ll leave you smiling!

Audiobook narrated by Jaclyn Kelso and James Cassidy, who bring the characters to life brilliantly!

Isobel is on her way to her sister’s wedding at a tropical resort when she meets a handsome, older stranger. They hit it off, exchange numbers, and—surprise—end up at the same resort. But when Isobel arrives at the first wedding event, she realizes the charming stranger is actually her sister’s future father-in-law.
I loved this book—it’s my favorite by Cleo White so far. Judah was completely gone for Isobel from the start, and I adored how caring and thoughtful he was. The way he stood up to her awful family? Perfection. I also loved seeing an older MMC who had his life together and didn’t run at the first sign of trouble. That’s probably why I enjoy age gap romances so much—the men are more mature and actually know what they want.
Isobel was such a well-written character, full of flaws and self-doubt, which made so much sense given her upbringing. Her family pushed her to be a doctor but never actually supported her. Watching her find the encouragement she always needed in Judah was so satisfying.
I couldn’t put this book down—it pulled me in from page one. I love that Cleo White jumps right into the story, giving just enough backstory to get you up to speed without slowing things down. Her writing is so easy to sink into, and I can’t wait for more!
