Evie Sage didn't mean to become the right-hand woman to the kingdom's most terrifying villain. I didn't expect that...

But i probly should have. i thought it was going to be a trilogy and it was going to wrap everything up. I was wrong and i can't wait for the next one!!!

Seriously- why do we have to wait?? I don’t know how many of these there are but I love each one more and more.

I love that we get Kingsley’s POV in here. I fall in love more and more with each character and can’t wait until the next one as I am trying to figure out what is going to happen because there’s so much happening and more to happen!

Why?!!! Cliffhanger

I really hope the next book is the last one. I can’t believe I have to wait another year for this to come out. 🥺 anyway. Lovely story. This book was savage. It’s getting darker and darker. I kind of knew about the magic and who is the villain, but I did not see the prince at all. I am happy about the epilog. Because I was going to be pretty mad Kingsley run away. If you are thinking on give it a try good luck with your feelings. 😂 they are a little rollercoaster, also this is pretty YA in case you are wondering. .

Hopefully it is only a temporary goodbye

I enjoyed the book very much though as interesting as the side quests were, they seemed to just be filler. I do believe many of the incidents and characters will come in to play in book 4. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book and this author. It was hard to say goodbye, even temporarily to these characters and their pursuits. I want more.

Narrator still awful, story still excellent

This narrator has marginally improved since the first book, but she's still really stilted and hard to listen to. WHY are there so many awkward pauses between every other word? Infuriating.

The story however was incredible as always, top tier snark and all. I'm madly in love with this cozy villain romantasy and that cliffhanger was perfection but I need the next book immediately!
