I have so many things to say about this book.

I’ll start with the good: the narrators! They were absolutely incredible! They truly delivered a performance, and it added so much to the authenticity of the audiobook (but not to the plot.. I’ll admit there were plenty of moments that made me go “what? What does that even had to do with anything?” but for now we’re focusing on the positives...).

Second, the spice! 100/10. Genuinely excellent writing in that department 🤌🏻🌟 There was a twist involving his wedding ring... Iykyk.😏 Let’s just say I giggled like a fool and couldn’t stop smiling once my jaw dropped (the only twist that actually surprised me 🤣).

And now for the less good parts, there was a lot of drama and information that had absolutely nothing to do with the suspense. It didn’t add anything to the story and felt unnecessarily excessive. I didn’t get answers to my questions (maybe I will in the next books... who knows?), and I’m a bit confused by their reactions to what happened... If I were in their shoes, I’d be throwing up or at least panicking afterward. They acted like it was just a regular Tuesday, like this kind of thing happens all the time 🤷🏻‍♀️

She supposedly “seduces” him innocently and “punishes” him, but honestly… in hindsight, she’s just sleeping with her husband, that’s it. I really didn’t get where the punishment was 🤣

But okay girl, I’m hoping the next book in the series will be better 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Plot rushed

You wanted to like the MMC and FMC. There were some good spicy scenes but I felt the rising action part of the book was rushed and glossed over. I feel like they went to bed and that was it trauma over. I wanted to feel them a little more in the struggle before wrapping things up.

First book I read from Maggoe Rawdon- It won't b the last.

Bull Rush was an absolute knockout of a romance, and Ramsey Stockton and Hazel completely stole my heart. From the very first page, their chemistry is electric, their personalities are perfectly matched, and the banter is truly top notch. The push-and-pull between them is addictive, with sharp wit, playful teasing, and just the right amount of tension that keeps you glued to every interaction.

Ramsey Stockton is everything you want in a leading man—confident, driven, and full of that irresistible cowboy swagger. Beneath the tough exterior, though, he’s layered, loyal, and deeply passionate. Hazel is his perfect match: strong, independent, smart, and not afraid to challenge him at every turn. She holds her own against Ramsey’s charm and keeps him on his toes, making their dynamic feel real, fiery, and full of heart.

Their relationship builds beautifully, mixing steamy moments with emotional depth and laugh-out-loud dialogue. Maggie Rawdon delivers a story that is fun, flirty, and heartfelt, with characters you can’t help but root for. Bull Rush is the kind of romance that leaves you smiling long after the last page. I loved every second of Ramsey and Hazel’s story and can’t wait to read more from this author!

Wow! What a great story! I couldn’t I stop listening to it! I can’t wait to listen to the second one
