Great Space Battles & Twists

Space battles are well written with good strategy and interesting twists which give the reader an opportunity to predict if they pay enough attention. Personally I’d want more “sciencey” parts like explaining how this future tech functions. But overall a great read with a nicely woven story, definitely getting book 2!

Good story…One issue

Overall, I like the story. It is well told and the narrator maintains voice distinction. There is one issue with it however. Why would a Nexus 10 Admiral need a Guide? During the story, Laura would have a vision, relay it to Admiral McCarthy, only to be told “I know” or “I see it too.” This part of the story line doesn’t make much sense.

Good space opera

Enjoyed the story and enjoyed performance even better. VA always brings life to his characters.

Was alright

The book itself was alright. The universe is unique and adaptable to the plot, the characters however are a little bit tough to follow

Wow! What an introduction.

I hope you give this series a chance I just finished the first four books and now am patiently awaiting the next two to be dropped. This series has amazing sci-fi elements as well as a great story!
