Great story. poor performance.

This was a great story in the submarine genera, the audio leaves much to be desired. The narrator had a halting style. There were numerous examples of audio inserts and edits that were very distracting.

terrible performance

The narrator is so monotone I struggled to finish this book. At times I was sure this was the first time he ever saw the book. I wont listen to another book he narrates.

The worst narrator!

I assume that the book is good, The story started good, but the horrible narrator made me stop after only 6 chapters in. I see that they changed narrators for the other books, so I am going to skip this one and move on to the other narrator. Hopefully they are better..... I can not imagine them being any worse!

Submarine story w/ a LE side-story

Great audible drama. Great submarine background, Maybe could have used a little more LE background. Or maybe warrants and affidavits would have dragged down the continuous action.

poor audio performance

I like the book but the audio performance is the worst I have ever heard.

Good Story but Poor Read

The plot of the story was engaging. But the almost monotone reader distracted from it.

Offended by poor pronunciation of various words

I believe that folks need to be careful of how they pronounce words. Nuclear pronounced as nu-que-ler instead of nu-cle-ar is a mistake many make. As someone who was raised in the Panama Canal Zone, I feel that if you don't know how to pronounce a Spanish word you need to ask for help. Other than those issues, I feel that the story was well done.

Story line was ok but narration was horrible names pronounced wrong and audio quality was terrible

The narrator was terrible.

The story was sometimes disjointed, but I really struggled listening to this book because the narrator was so stiff. It was truly hard to listen to this book.
