OMG the voice 😩

Sounded like a good story BUT….Couldn’t get past a few chapters. The narraters voices were grating just horrendous. Uhggg

Different, but appreciated

A very different tone, compared to his other books. More serious, gritty, and heavy themes. If you like M.R. Forbes you like this book very similar feel. The narrator does an amazing job, as well.

Fun but disjointed

If the author would stay “on topic” once he begins a scenario, the book would be a Much More enjoyable read. Also, the book would be a more enjoyable read if the author didn’t ‘kill off’ the story’s protagonists. I don’t know what the author, Skyler Ramirez, is thinking, but it doesn’t make this book more interesting, it just makes it severely annoying.

Who and what is going on?

So many characters in the beginning, can’t keep track of who is who. I need a chart. Also different settings and times. What is going on? What is the plot of this story?Couldn’t finish.
