Breathy narration too much for me

I did not like the narrator. I can’t get into the mysterious slow breathy narration. Especially the detective. I almost couldn’t listen because of it. But the story was great! Glad I hung in there.

Page Turner

Great suspense book! Keeps you guessing all the way to the end. You’ll think you got it figured out and then another twist. Every chapter is a cliff hanger, so you have to keep reading. You’ll stay up late to finish this fast read!

Very good story

I loved the characters and the narrator was very good too. You won’t be disappointed.

Brilliant as always

There were tons of twists and unexpected turns, and no foul language or blasphemy, and with Jesus part in the “background” was also refreshing. Loved all of Christy’s stories, looking forward to more!

Fun summer read!

It was a good book, twisty, fast paced, easy read. It was a book you don’t have to think too much while reading, you sit back and enjoy the twists and turns. I love a HEA and was happy with the ending. The narrator does a lot of Freida McFadden’s books so I’m used to her but some call her breathy. It was fine for me. I did guess who the “bad guy” was but not the reason for it so I was still surprised and enjoyed it.
