Gallivanting geriatrics! Spinster antics!

The only thing I dislike is that there aren’t more of them. Fitz makes me just want to snuggle my own murder paws just a bit tighter. Hating Belinda was never easier. How the author weaves current themes juxtaposed with Austenian wit without preaching or raising my ire for taking cultural liberties is astonishing. But she manages it all deftly. I never feel she has manipulated the era to move her storyline or an agenda. Rare for the themes she tackles.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, laughed out loud, and had to stop a few times worrying over the plight of various characters. My youngest daughter (12) often hears my audiobooks in the car and I caught her enraptured on many occasions. I moved the entire series to her list so she can start at the beginning. Morgen is her favorite and she believes Belinda is “the worst.” She demanded frequent catch ups with this series when I listened without her. Remarkable!
I am eager to hear about the next part of the journey, but will not ruin the surprise for someone deciding if this book is worth reading. (It is.)
I won’t be happy until I’ve heard all there is to hear and I hope that is a long time away.
I highly recommend this book and series. Sometimes the third book makes you wish the author just stopped at their first book. Not this one! I never want the author to stop! I don’t know how; but her ideas seem endless! Will the dragons create their own kingdom? I can’t wait to find out!

This has been an absolute joy to listen to, it is cozy and well written!

One of my favorite series.

Everything! the story, the weaving with current events of the time period. the narrator, the characters, the drama with no murders made it a joy to listen. interesting twists and turns of the plot. I hope there will be more.

Worth a listen

I love how the author developed the character. It a great ending to the series.
