Jack Jenkins is a normal college student living in a world filled with super powered beings. Until one fateful day in the library throws his whole life into chaos. An ancient and beguiling cosmic visitor bonds with him, granting him extraordinary abilities. The only catch: he has to earn his powers like he was in a video game. And he has to learn on the fly.

Because right now a terrifying crime boss is moving in on Jack’s neighborhood. Jack has to do everything he can to stop him and protect his friends, family, and that cute girl from the library. He’ll have to level up as quickly as possible, because only his wits and fists stand between the Iron Count and total destruction.

But can he take down the Iron Count while balancing school, work, and some unconventional relationships? He’s sure going to try, as he steps into the Hero Game.

Awesome

This is an outstanding example of a fun and light super hero themed series. Characters are fun, the plot line is something that is in progress but everything is good natured

Holy crap this was good.

Was hesitant to get this cause of the length, but it was definitely worth it. Fast moving story and was action packed and awesome.

This was fun and entertaining with a good amount of spice even if I don't like that the MC doesn't end threats permanently but oh well. and I actually I found kinda ironic that the worst spicy scene was when he finally made it to third base

I don’t typically like “Hero” stories. I much prefer Anti hero. However that being said this was great. I laughed and was glad he finally got to home plate

It’s quite fun

I wasn’t quite expecting the rpg elements but I do enjoy the authors spin on the system. Character writing could use some more development but the story didn’t feel bogged down by paper thin characters. The explicit scenes weren’t jarring which can be a problem for the genre, and I do hope we can continue exploring the characters. The only real issue I have was during text exchanges it was bogged down by all the character names and I felt it wasn’t necessary because the narrator did a good job at distinguishing character voices. Nitpicking perhaps but hoping we can improve upon it for possible audio sequels.
