My favorite author has done it again!

What can I say? The dark, twisted, and romantic plot that we've come to expect from K.M. Moronova hit it right out of the park! I can't get enough of this series and wish the next one was already out!

I cried for an entire chapter

The world building is good but would’ve liked more. However, the characters and the relationships built with them felt so real and right that i feel like i know them!

Gripping plot twists and character development

Both the first book and this one had me in a vice grip! One of the most creative worlds/magic systems I’ve ever read. The relationships and character development are amazing and there’s a sgood spice level sprinkled throughout.

What a twist

So I'm not going to lie. I liked the first book in this series but a huge portion of this second book felt slow. The rh aspects feel somewhat pointless and the multiple pov sometimes makes me feel like I'm getting whiplash sometimes (especially with how some of the romance scenes happen). BUT... BUT.... that ending pulled me back. Really thd last 10 ish chapters have me ready for the next book. I'm hoping that the pacing in the third book will be a little better and that the relationships become more meaningful.

Intense, fast paced, and heart breaking

Amazing performance, can't wait for books 3 & 4. I wish these stories were longer.
