Second chance romance

Not gonna lie second chance romances are not my favorite unless if it’s done right and this was done right

Small Town Spice

I liked the combo of small town romance and drama/suspense this story came to life with. The characters were interesting, the town was charming and the spice was surprisingly bold.

Amazing plot plus spice!!!!

Clio Evans did an amazing job balancing the spice and the plot in this book. Cam is a dream cowboy with a dirty mouth and mind to match. The narrators did an amazing job bringing the character to life. I highly recommend adding this to your list of books to either read or listen to.

Spice with Plot

Broken Beginnings is very spicy! It also has good character development, romance, character redemption, and a good suspense plot! This is a good start to the series.

Enjoyable but very fast paced

Love a good bully romance but she got over everything he did pretty fast and then the rest of their relationship progressed rapidly. I was hoping for a bit more push and pull but she ended up forgiving him basically right after he apologized and said/showed he was a different man. I think him having to grovel more to earn her forgiveness for what he did to her in highschool would have been more satisfying and would have built up the tension more. After she forgives him they pretty much fall in love (and into bed) instantly. I love some good angst so I think there was a missed opportunity here.
