What do you get when you put a happy-go-lucky hockey star, a controlling CEO, and a grumpy goalie together? One big mess.

They may be hockey's Most Valuable Pack, but the Pierson alphas are far from a true team. The obvious solution? Find the right omega to bind them together. The match-making process sounds simple enough. Scientific, even. Until a sweet, shy omega runs right into their play for a mate and changes the whole game.

Remi thought she was ready for a team of her own.

After growing up without a family, and being passed over by foster parents, she always dreamed of finding her perfect pack. But when her big chance finally comes, it's nothing like she imagined.

Could she really belong with this group of rough, rowdy, rude alphas? And, if she does, will they finally be the family that chooses her back?

Finding a pack was always her goal. But is Remi ready to take her shot?

This fun, sporty Omegaverse romance contains knotting, heat, swoony alphas, and absolutely no choosing! HEA guaranteed! Intended for mature listeners.

FMC had a tough childhood so pleasing & passivity is certainly one reasonable response. Just not my thing. I liked the other “Knot your…” story much better. I like characters that have it tough and try to still swing at their life.

I loved Remi and her pack. Her and Cassian’s story is so sweet. They were true loves. Damon is so caring and sweet. Smith had some work to do but he did it and proved he was worthy. I loved hearing these characters come to life.

Sweet Remi gets everything she deserves

Super sweet, extremely sexy. Only slight note was that it was harder to tell the male characters apart than in Book 1. He did an awesome job, but a bit more contrast between voices would be really helpful when listening to a book where it switches POV.

This series really does stand out. The characters are unique and fleshed out, the sexy times are exactly what ypu want, and it genuinely feels real.

Yay. ^_^

Tropes:🏒Hockey Romance🥐Omegaverse 🏒Why Choose/RH🥐Found Family🏒Forced Proximity 🥐Touch Her & 💀🏒Second Chance 🥐Fated Mates🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 Review: This is a standalone but has characters from book one in it. This is the best friends of the FMC in book 1. The FMC is Remi and her 3 alphas. This starts off with her getting a second chance with her childhood sweet heart and her mean boss along with a star hockey player. It’s insta love but not with her boss. He’s a jerk in the beginning, it’s hard to forgive him lol. But I really loved this story and the 4.5 star rating is because I like the first book a little more. Remi was a little hard for me with her personality in the beginning but I loved her and her alphas. I would definitely recommend this audiobook and the series a whole! I love this author so much, the way she writes it just amazing.

Loved 🥰

Remi!!!! Oh, I’m so glad that Remi (the best friend of Meg from Book One) got her book!

Meg wants her best friend to find happiness and signs Remi up for an Omega match-making program. Remi grew up in the foster program and has a range of insecurities stemming from those years of neglect. She agrees to the match-making, and finds a pack which includes the quiet boy she loved as a teenager 🥹.

This is a sweet, low drama story, but the tension and yearning is so good. Remi kinda feels like she HAS to please her pack, and that creates friction because Alphas want nothing more than to pamper and spoil their Omega.

I love how Ari’s Omegaverse really needs an Omega to unite the pack. It shows how truly important the Omega is. (Book one describes it like the hub of a wheel that holds the spikes together, and that’s the perfect analogy.) The Alphas work fine together but REALLY form a family with their Omega.

Brooke Daniels and James Cavenaugh came back to do the audio and it may be even better than book one. James did an excellent job creating unique voices for each MMC and it made it very easy to listen to.

TLDR: Spicy, sweet why-choose hockey romance with an Omega that finally gets the pampering she deserves.

🛡️ Audiobook Review: Knot Her Shot

Series: MVP: Most Valuable Pack, #2
Genre: Reverse-Harem Sports Romance / Omegaverse
Narrators: James Cavanaugh and Brooke Daniels

🦸🏼‍♀️ Heroine Spotlight: Remi

Remi’s story begins with heartbreak — abandoned as a baby and raised in the foster system, she learned early to mold herself into whatever version of “wanted” she thought might earn her a family. But no one ever chose her. That ache for belonging shaped her into a people pleaser, even as she grew up in a group home. Everything changed the day she discovered she was an omega — a revelation that led her to a specialized omega-only home, where she met Meg (heroine of Knot Her Goal). Before that shift, Remi had a quiet crush on a broody future alpha in her group home — a boy who would later reappear in her life in the most unexpected way.

🦸🏻‍♂️ Hero Spotlight: Smith, Cassian & Damon

Smith and Cassian are brothers bound by tragedy and resilience. After losing their parents young, Smith stepped into the role of protector and provider, eventually building a business empire that supports not just Cassian but their third packmate, Damon. Cassian, the gruff goalie nicknamed “Beastly,” and Damon, the charismatic center of the Orlando Timberwolves, are hockey stars with very different vibes. Damon’s charm draws puck bunnies like moths to flame, but lately, the spark has dimmed — he’s craving something real. Smith, ever the strategist and alpha, decides it’s time to find their omega and turns to a high-end matchmaking service to do just that.

📃 Plot Pulse

With wealth, stability, and a newly renovated home, the pack is ready to welcome an omega. Remi, weary of enduring painful heats alone and longing for the kind of love Meg found, agrees to try the matchmaking service — especially since Meg’s pack offers to cover the cost. But Remi’s nerves spike when she learns she’ll be matched and meet her pack immediately. The twist? One of the alphas is her childhood crush. The joy of reunion is quickly complicated by the presence of Smith — someone she remembers for all the wrong reasons. Sparks fly, but not all of them are romantic.

💘 What Hit Home

• The pack’s dynamic is beautifully balanced — each man distinct in personality, yet complementary. Their differences make them stronger together and perfect for Remi.
• Smith may be polarizing, but I found him compelling. Yes, he’s abrasive at first — a control freak shaped by years of responsibility — but his growth is subtle and satisfying. His restraint, his quiet recalibrations, and his effort to listen rather than command made me root for him.

🧐 What Fell Flat

• Remi’s fearfulness felt inconsistent. Given her tough upbringing, I expected more grit and street smarts. Her vulnerability made sense in the context of longing to be loved, but her frequent tears didn’t quite align with someone who’s survived so much alone.

🎧 Narration Notes

Told through dual POVs, the audiobook features James Cavanaugh and Brooke Daniels. James brings a warm, masculine tone, though his character differentiation could use polish — it was occasionally tricky to track who was speaking. Brooke Daniels, on the other hand, is a standout. Her voice fits Remi perfectly: expressive, age-appropriate, and effortlessly immersive. She doesn’t sound like she’s reading — she sounds like she’s living it.

📝 Final Takeaway

This story blends emotional vulnerability with pack dynamics, second chances, and the ache of finally being chosen. While not perfect, it delivers heart, heat, and healing — especially for listeners who love layered alphas and heroines who find their voice.

This book is already such a good one but the narrating is pretty perfect! Listened to it multiple times.

Such a great book with amazing narrating!

I love this story so much! I have read it countless times and was so excited to move to audiobook for a listen. These two narrators are so good! The differentiation between characters is fantastic! There are very distinct voices for each of the characters! Now, when I read the physical book, I hear these narrators in my head and it is so delicious!

These narrators are terrific!

I love this book but the narration leaves a lot to be desired. Neither narrator felt like a good fit and they didn’t flow together. The male narrator over-does enunciation in the same way Taylor Lautner did in the Twilight movies. The female narrator always sounds like she has a mouthful of saliva and mispronounces words and even gets the names of the characters wrong. She says Damien at least twice when his name is Damon. At one point she calls Cassian “Cassan”. She also mixes up words with multiple pronunciations like bow and present. Two personal icks for me were pronouncing feral “feeral” and the loud, over the top noises she did in spicy scenes. It was cringy.

Love the story not the narration
