Packed with unpredictable punches

I love to read thrillers, and after reading so many I often find the endings so overdone and predictable. John Marrs kept twist after twist with this ending! Although I felt like he alluded to a couple of the twists, he had so much packed in that there way no way to guess it all.

It was mediocre

I feel like John rushed this one. His previous books felt more thoughtful and the endings are normally more original and astounding. It doesn’t read or feel like a John Marrs book. I prefer his others over this one. However, the story was fine. If you like neighborhood drama and no depth in the backstory of characters.

The best book I’ve listened to in a long time

John Marrs has written a character that you LOVE to hate, but still end up feeling really bad for. I put my life on hold to listen to this book and devoured it in less than a day. Run, don’t walk, to get this book!

LOVED!! So twisty!!

I am new to the John Marrs world as I am strictly an audiobook reader and didn’t like the accent of the narrators for the longest time but for the last few months, I’ve gotten into accented narrators. This is my second John Marrs book and I have loved both! This one was so twisty, back and forth drama, constant, I couldn’t stop reading and the ending was ahhhhh! So good!! Loved it!! Definitely recommend! Onto the next!

I audibly gasped at least 4 times

I loved this book, it had me hooked from the first page. John Marrs is fantastic with character development. I loved the first person(s) narration.
I finished it in 1 day on a road trip.

I often struggle with audio books b/c so many of the narrators are slow or over the top but that wasn’t the case with this book. I read quickly and found if I listened at 1.2 it works better for me.

Super Good!!

Just what I needed to get over the slump I had for reading/listening. If you’re confused don’t worry just keep listening. It will all come together

Some parts of this book confused me.
The ending of the book I understand everything. I have never heard of this author. I will definitely get another book

Twists and turns

What a fun ride!! It just kept throwing the twists at you like Apollo creed through jabs at Rocky!

Incredible story line with unimaginable twists!

On top of the amazingly written book, the actors in this audio book were FANTASTIC! You could hear every bit of emotion in each of their voices. Highly recommend!
