The story line was captivating.

I binged all the books in this series within a week. I enjoyed the story line and couldn’t wait to hear what would happen next.
My disappointment of the series is all the “word salad”. It’s as though the author needed to extend the length of the books with empty self talk mostly Ben but eventually all the characters. I would tune it out and not miss a thing quite a bit which saddened me.

Standing together

I want to tell you this is well worth the reading. I went through the whole series on edge of my set! The ups and downs of their journey was exciting at times and scary. Makes me wonder if I was in the same situation would I be able to be that strong and courageous.

Great prepper story

I liked this series a lot and I'm not even into prepping that much.

Humanity devolves quickly

Many people who have never camped don't realize how hard survival in the Mother Nature is. Drinking unclean water or getting a cut and not having a way to clean it can cause life threatening infections. Then you throw in wild animals and the weather and you realize how fragile humans truly are. Ben and his group face all of this and more besides the capacity for evil inside each of us. This book was the cumulation of a crazy journey that I really enjoyed and would recommend to everyone.

Really Fun Series

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The attention to detail with the vehicles, weapons, and locations added a lot to this survival scenario.

good characters and energetic adventure

I like the morality of the characters in conjunction with the reality of having to do hard things to survive. This isn't one of those hard core apocalypse stories that can be more depressing. It's more like the hero adventure stories. More fun than heartache.

Excellent series!

Narration was outstanding. Character development was evident throughout and clearly supported the storyline. Hard to believe I didn’t have to pay for the series. No foul language and while there were some gruesome parts which one would fully expect in this type of scenario, Bruno did an excellent job in not crossing the line. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I believe you will as well.

Quite the Journey

All-in-all a very nice story, does it lean heavily into the main characters will always be okay? Yes, are there times when you still worry? Also yes. Did I occasionally feel like the story was written with AI assistance, yes again. Just little story details and timeline changes from the early books to the later ones that I'm sure you wouldn't notice if you didn't listen to all 15 in under a month. But I enjoyed the series and felt that the narrator was an excellent choice.
