Mercy Thompson is a shapeshifter, and while she was raised by werewolves, she can never be one of them, especially after the pack ran her off for having a forbidden love affair. So she’s turned her talent for fixing cars into a business and now runs a one-woman mechanic shop in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State.

But Mercy’s two worlds are colliding. A half-starved teenage boy arrives at her shop looking for work, only to reveal that he’s a newly changed werewolf—on the run and desperately trying to control his animal instincts. Mercy asks her neighbor Adam Hauptman, the Alpha of the local werewolf pack, for assistance.

But Mercy’s act of kindness has unexpected consequences that leave her no choice but to seek help from those she once considered family—the werewolves who abandoned her...

I could get behind all the characters but Stephan' s voice is terrible. He is an Italian soldier not a Vodville actor.

This is a much better performance than the single person narration. I have enjoyed these books for years and was frustrated with the audiobook versions but I was impressed with the performances and enjoyed listening. I really hope more of the Mercy Thompson series get this treatment. Well worth the purchase.

I am a Lond time Mercy Fan I have recently tried to rebuild my collection and struggling with book 1 and 3 due to their hardcover value! So I tried Moon Called just Narrated and I hated It. Thought I would never try Audiobooks again..... I was so happy to come across this version. Thankfully it blew my mind and took me back to the stories I remember! Thank you all It was amazing to listen to and create that story in my mind.

If you haven't read or listened to the original version of the Mercy Thompson series, I suggest you do that first. The dramatized adaptions always leave some of the details out, due to the way they are produced. At first I couldnt really enjoy the full cast adaptation for this series. I absolutey loved Lorelei Kings (wrong spelling, im sure, sorry) narration of the books originally on audible, and while the voice actors did a great job some of them just didnt match my idea of what the characters sound like. But after the initial shock, and finishing the first book, I found I wanted to listen to the mext one. It will be weird to hear Stefan (spelling?) as a peppy bright guy, but if I can get past that I think it will be good.

Enjoyed it!

I have read this book so many times as well as the rest of the Mercy series. I saw this in GraphicAudio and knew it was going to be a yes please, I need to experience this. I thought this was well done and it was a nice comfort read/ reset for me. I will definitely be enjoying the rest in the series when they come out.
