The narration wasn't the best, but pretty good and I enjoyed it a lot after all

Mercy is faced with three crisis! A dark fae wants Mercy’s fae stick returned to the fae but Mercy had given it away. Mercy’s husband’s ex-wife asks for his help because of an abusive boyfriend so she moves back in with them. The abusive boyfriend comes to Mercy car repair shop to kill her because Adam has allowed his ex-wife to stay with the pack and he is more powerful then Adam’s ex has described.

Most Interesting character

Louisa, the wife of the man who trained dogs. She had won the total love and respect of their dogs and she totally loved and respected the dogs.

I love that Mercy is such a bad ass. And that Kristi doesn't stand a chance!

Great book and Lorelei King is outstanding! This book is one of my favorite in the series. Lots of new information and characters that add to the dynamic keeping things from being stagnant.

her stupidity you already know she is not going to listen and it's dumb and frustrating but the other parts hep redeem the story

Patricia Briggs never disappoints

I don't even care what is the story. I just automatically get the latest Mercy Thompson-Hauptman novel. This one did not disappoint.

It always takes me a minute or two to realize I'm in a Mercy Thompson book and not a Stephanie Plum novel because Lorelai King narrates both series. Lorelai is an awesome narrator though, so I quickly get over it. I love both series. By now, all of the characters have such a history and depth. Lorelai brings the right tone to the story. Great Job! I will get the next one as soon as it is available.
