I guess what you expect from death's favorite warlock where the whole goal is to kill everybody not bad

I'm starting to think he gave up on, and it still was perfect. Perfection.

The story overall was entertaining and great but it cut off so many storylines that it felt rushed. The story introduced many side characters and things that could have been explored but decided to make a more straightforward storyline as if to say why even introduce these characters if you’re not going to keep going. Slow down the pacing and give some closure

Great series, but this book felt rushed. No other complaints. Blooper reels are funny as hell.

Got what I wanted

The ending was great, but a part of me felt like there was supposed to be at least 1 more book to it before the end. The other part of me thinks that the ending was perfect. Things continued to escalate more and more, snowballing to the point where the ending Ophellia kept talking about had to happen. There was no second option. From start to end, the goal was for everyone to die. To kill them all.

This whole story began with Lars trying to reunite with his mom, but from book 2 and beyond, it was pretty clear that Lars was never going to get his cake and eat it too. In the way it ended, he saved his mom. He saved everyone. Gave them their perfect life. But he didnt get his perfect ending. He never got to hold his mom again, though be did get something for all his hard work.

I'm glad that like other Cultivation-esque books, it wasnt drawn out. Many things, ideas, and plot lines were presented, but things never really went Lars' way from the beginning.

This book scratched my itch. A series that uses a lot of cliches but in a mostly refreshing way. Not perfect by any means, but was worth it.

(Also, I don't even remember his mother's name though :/ Was it even mentioned? Well, it didnt matter in the end.)

A decent ending to a great series

Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I love the main characters' development and enjoyed feeling the emotions of the characters in the story.

I do feel that the last 2 hours of this book should have been 5 hours. With a focus towards development on the conclusion tying up a few loose ends. I don't want to give any spoilers, but other than that I enjoyed the whole series.
