A Gripping Ride of Emotions

This book was quite surprising. I was on the edge of my seat from the moment I started listening, and I’ve seen people include that sentence in a lot of reviews, but this book really pulled me in. I have never had that type of an emotional ride reading an audible book before. This was so worth one credit. I hope the other books in the series are as gripping.

This was an awesome book. Alyssa makes characters come to life. The heroine suffered deep losses yet still was the warrior she was raised to be. I loved this book

I was captivated from the beginning. I just love a strong FL and Winter is cold as hell!

Action Packed

Damien & Winter were likable, strong characters and they had an instant attraction.
Definitely some twists, marriage of alliance, love, loyalty, violence, murder, loss of parents and siblings. Damien is the son of an influential Bratva family studying at a college to enhance their skills and he is also a custodian (to protect).
Winter’s family dealt in diamonds and she was known as the Blood Princess. She also attends the same school to advance her skills and not everyone who attends are friends. Loved the epilogue because it brought you 15 years into the future.

Unique take on a Mafia/Bratva Romance.

Interesting characters. Enjoyed the dynamic between the MMC and MFC. Though I wished there would have been a bit more tension/avoidance as it would have felt more realistic.

Great plotline, with fairly good scene development.
