Story: I enjoyed the story and the adventures.

Narration: I always love this female narrator. She's a favorite. I enjoyed the male narrator as well. I may listen to more by him.

FORGED FROM THE DARK

THIS IS A FANTASTIC FUN AND ENTRANCING TALE! I CANNOT WAIT FOR BOOK 2 TO COME OUT TO AUDIBLE! BEYOND EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ELF PRINCE WHO WAS BANISHED AND WHERE ASHLYNN AND HER DARK ELF GO.. NARRATION WAS BEAUTIFUL AND FLAWLESS!

Determination

I loved Ashland's blind determination to do whatever she must to save her family as well as Tal's single mindedness to protect her no matter what.

Inner strength is a superpower

Are you tired of the chosen one trope? This book is all about an ordinary girl with an extraordinary will to accomplish an impossible task to save her loved ones. I really enjoyed this story. I gave it a 4/5 because it didn't knock my socks off but it kept me up way past my bedtime. The pacing is really well done and it's swoony without any spice.

Sweet & Swoon-Worthy

So many trials and unexpected unique adventures throughout this story, but the budding relationship is soo sweet. Also LOVE the wolf Kuan! The ending makes me feel content for their story but also like we might see more of this couple in book 2. I am excited that the next book will be a new couple in this same world. Kennedy Davidson writes the most swoon-worthy male leads. There is dual points of view, and the voices for the male and female are perfect! (just have to get past the deep voice male narrator having to do the FMC's voice ha)
