Gage wasn't sure how to take that since his mentor never mentioned it. Whenever he saw him again, then he would demand an answer since the last time he asked why he was being trained, Devon told him that he would know when it was time. Well, now it's time since he's being sent to the Kanos Empire, a dangerous place for a human.

Very good

This is a really okay series. Some of the actions by MC are more along lines of teen angst and silliness, but story is interesting. Other series made by this author are five star, and this is good enough to be entertained, but not one of better works. Still good enough to entertain and good enough to keep picking up.

Another good one 

It’s like the book  takes you in the direction that seems obvious it’s going, but then steered you in a completely different direction really good

The first two books in the series are incredible

I have really enjoyed the series so far, and I am just a little annoyed regarding how book 2 ended in a cliffhanger. However, you can only put so much in one book.

The narrators are incredible just as they are in all the books that I’ve listened to where they were the narrators, they are quickly becoming my go to duo, and I run search is an audible just for their names.

Can’t wait for the third book in the series.

a very interesting book

I enjoyed this story very much it was a twister to come up with the evil Elder and older Vamps or Venturi I kind of like the plot after so I enjoyed listening to this

I’m not mad…. Just eager

Honestly when I found Xander Jade and the multiple series the are writing I initially started listening to them to kill time while working. However, this series I have been desperately waiting for, and it does not disappoint. Well, the MC can be a little irritating at times, the storytelling, and being able to follow what is going on is that exceptionally well. I look forward to seeing what else he does in the future. I’m not mad I’m just eager for the next installment
