My favorite

I’ve read the book before, but the audiobook was fabulous. Perfectly done, I couldn’t ask for a better audiobook

Cliffhangers like this should be illegal 🙂

I’ve grown complacent, far too used to the comfort of interconnected standalones🥲. This book was so compelling, I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The romance only made it sweeter…I can’t wait to continue this plot line and find out more.

Hooked me from the start

The story and the narrators were perfect. I can’t wait to jump into the next two.

A really dark read, but excellent story

This is one dark tale of abuse, torture, and suspense. The characters are very well written and the story comes together well. The narration was spot on and I can't wait to get the next book.

Great Series

This was my first series with this author. I enjoyed the story and characters. It was dark and has triggers but was very good. Narrators were also good

Loved it

Great story that moves a good pace. There was one big plot and lots of smaller mysteries that get resolved and move on to the next which keep the book interesting. Fair warning theres lots of trauma and abuse in this book (not by MMC's) which got hard to read about at times but the storyline was worth it. It was a slow burn for sure so dont expect much in book 1 but definitely get your fill of spice in books 2 & 3. I thought spice was pretty high but I know that is relative. No MM in this harem. Narrators are British and I usually have a hard time with the choices British narrators make in regard to speed, volume, and the acting but they did a wonderful job.

something different

I loved this book! it's super detailed and well written. it definitely has ID TV vibes that I didn't know I could find in a book! can't wait for the next book to added to audible!

The unexpected plot twists

This book had it all! Action, romance, thriller, all! Hearing each characters personality evolve throughout the book and their attachments had me sucked in. Definitely recommend!

SUCH a great read!

This is the first time I’ve felt the need to submit a review. I don’t even know where to start! The narrators are perfect. The writing is unmatched. Not only is the story line absolutely gripping, but considering the graphic material, the way it’s written makes it easier to digest. The slow burn element is tastefully written, which makes each small encounter impactful. I love this story. The descriptions of characters and scenes are enough to have a clear image in mind. Some books leave many details out, leaving the mental picture too ambiguous, and this is not one of them. I have never read this author’s books before, but they have me enthralled from the first one. 10/10 would recommend. (If you’re squeamish, I don’t recommend reading/listening. Lots of trauma, poor coping mechanisms,and graphic descriptions of dead bodies, just a heads up—this can be triggering.)
