Publisher's summary

The story of an ordinary woman with extraordinary experiences, Virginia Swain's soul journey takes her from the devastating loss of her brother to moments of peace, visions of a new future, and after a harrowing day in New York City on September 11, a vivid dream of a phoenix rising rising from a city's ashes, calling her to a new definition of leadership, one of empowerment, reconciliation, and peace.

Honest, inspiring, a generous gift to humanity.

Virginia Swain restores faith in humanity. Her life experience, working on five different continents, brings alive her theoretical framework for making the world more peaceful. Virginia blazed a trail, making it easier for others to become reconciliation leaders. Peace is possible. There is hope! The missing pieces to affect change and leadership are revealed. One can imagine many hearts and minds opening to the possibility of doing life together differently. The vision is exciting and hopeful.
