Publisher's summary

Firefighter Levi Bailey is used to being alone. Not that he’s lonely. How could he be, with a band of unruly brothers and their wives and growing families? Maybe he’s the odd man out. The one brother who isn’t destined to be with his soul mate. Besides, he has her.

She’s his Juliet, the only woman in the world he can’t ever have. To an outsider, it probably seems crazy. But the Tilikum town feud is no joke—especially now—and Annika Haven is strictly forbidden.

Annika Haven never expected to be back in her hometown, let alone as a single mom with two jobs. Add in a pack of overprotective brothers, a brewing family crisis, and a gossipy, feuding town on the brink of chaos, and life gets complicated. But at least she has him.

He’s her Romeo, a son of the enemy. He makes her smile on her worst days. Yet despite his brooding sex appeal, the one thing she cannot do is fall for Levi Bailey. They’re just friends, and that’s the way it has to stay.

But after months of secret texts and stolen glances, one soul-stealing kiss changes everything. And Levi Bailey is about to do the impossible—defy the feud.

Author’s Note: This audiobook features an intense hero who relentlessly pursues what he wants and a single mom with a tender heart. Contains small-town shenanigans, a 100-year-old mystery, a riot of crazy brothers hot enough to melt your device, and the biggest, heart-bursting happily ever after you’ve been waiting for.

Perfection

The final Bailey to get his HEA couldn't have been more perfect!!! I loved how these two defied the odds and let fate lead the way. The narrators brought these characters to life so much so that I never wanted the book to end

Fantastic Finale to Epic Series!!!

Rewriting the Stars is the fantastic finale of a phenomenal series - amazingly written, heartfelt, swooney, suspenseful and steamy rom-com stories with all the feels!

Rewriting the Stars is book 6 in the Bailey brothers series. There is an underlying mystery woven throughout the entire series that doesn’t get resolved until book six, so you will want to start with book one and I promise you - you will not be disappointed!!!

I’ve anxiously awaited each new installment in the series and tremendously enjoyed all six books. Tilikum is a quirky little town with century old feud between two families. I loved meeting all the characters over the past 2 years and feel as if they’ve become close friends. I’d love nothing more than to vacation in Tilikum - visiting with Gram and soaking up her wisdom, having fun as the Havens and Baileys play their pranks on each other, and as the surprisingly well organized squirrels wreak havoc on the little town.
In Rewriting the stars, we witness the last Bailey brother - Levi - find his forever love; and the interwoven mystery unravels in a dramatic culmination of events as the ever present danger lurks around.

Claire Kingsley has masterfully brought the series home with captivating story line, relatable and remarkably well developed characters and just the right amount of swoon, steam and laugh out loud fun!

The narration is phenomenal, it allows you to immerse yourself in the story as if you were an active participant.

I enthusiastically recommend Rewriting the Stars and The entire Bailey Brothers series to all romcom enthusiasts, and to everyone who loves to enjoy a good book!!!

Voice Enhancement

I’ve read this book, but it went to a different level having voices to go with the main characters. Levi Bailey and Annika Haven…their families have been feuding for over 100 years, but no one knows what started it. This is the final book in the Bailey Brothers series and it ties everything up. We learn the truth about the Montgomery treasure and the feud’s start. Great story with great narrators.

A great ending!

The Bailey Brothers never fail to disappoint! The secret messages and rendezvous because of the family rivalry, pranks of all kind, a mystery that has been in the background of the series finally solved & all kinds of shenanigans! This was such a great way to end the series! All the small town vibes and family moments! Grams and her cryptic but wise advice & her nicknames, the brothers and their antics and all the wives and kids made it so fun! Thomas, Annikas kid, was also a great addition!

I initially read this when it released, and it was just as good the second time around! The narrators were also great!

Fantastic ending to the series!

Claire Kingsley has given us yet another fantastic rom-com in the Bailey Brothers series, filled with heart, heat, humor and small-town hijinks. Ending this series with Levi, who is arguably the most grumpy brother despite Evan's attempts to take that crown, was perfect.

Levi and Annika are Tilikum's own Romeo and Juliet, so having them unite the Baileys and Havens as a way to cap of the series makes sense. I love that Levi and Annika have years of secret friendship that bind them. They're closeness and their support of each other through all of the family feuding, their ability to put each other first and the feud second, was heartwarming.

I'm going to miss the Baileys, Grandma Bailey and her peckers, the whole town of Tilikum, including the squirrels and those pesky havens.

Narration for this installment was wonderful. I love Desiree Ketchum. She really captured Annika's spirit, and her desire to find some happiness for herself and get her family to treat her like the adult she is. Sebastian York as Levi was amazing, too. He took the grumpiest, surliest Bailey brother and made his heart and his love so big, so gave him so much tenderness. Plus the cameo by Aaron Shedlock, the voice of Asher in this books, brough the series so a fitting conclusion.

Friends to lovers from feuding families, small town, single mom!

3.5 stars! Rewriting the Stars is book 6, and the final book in the Bailey Brothers series. This is a small town, friends to lovers, single mom romance, and a bit forbidden since they’re from feuding families!

Levi Bailey and Annika Haven should hate one another, their families have had a massive feud between them for forever after all. But after being paired up in highschool for a secret penpal type assignment, Levi and Annika just continued writing and sending messages to one another off and on for years even after finding out who one another was.

Now Annika, a single mom to her son, has moved back to Tilikum and is back around the Bailey brothers…including Levi. This was just a fun friends to lovers one. A little slower than the previous few books, it felt long in parts. I did like seeing them as secret friends and texting one another. Her son was cute and how he bonds with Levi pretty quickly too. We do get a bit of suspense in here towards the end as they uncover the history of the feud between their families. Not a fav in the series for me, but still solid!
