Light, Fluffy and Fun

This book was very light even for a rom-com. It was however, a cute, fun and enjoyable listen.

The story has just enough mystery for you to follow that you didn’t see all of the end pieces all at once.

The male character was made British American for some reason but they opted to not go with a native British male narrator. HOWEVER Stephen Dexter did do a lovely job at it. His voice is very enjoyable to listen to.

Natalie Duke is the female on this book. I have mixed feelings on her but overall enjoyable performance.

Fabulous!

This was fantastic. Hands down. Derek Price is the most perfect catnip of a hero and the end involves some of the best comeuppance in a book ever. Two thumbs up and a double squee cannon salute!

A fun listen

This series of books is just so much fun to listen to. I love the camaraderie and friendship between these four women and watching the shenanigans that they get into together.

Nerds are cool!

Natalie Duke and Stephen Dexter once again bring Lucy Score's characters to life in the most charming of ways! Great narration!
Secret science nerd Emily Stanton is an ice princess. Calm, cool and in control as CEO of her Flawless skin care company, working 24/7 to prove her worth. Seamlessly running her high-powered corporate job, and the exclusive enclave she created along with her best friends. Unruffled, that is, until she encounters corporate fixer Derek Price. Forced to work together to fix her image after a little kerfuffle, Derek and Emily butt heads in the most delightful way with Lucy Score’s signature banter and snark. Watching the fiery Derek melt the icy Emily is one of the best things I’ve ever read! And as usual, there is a lovely cast of side characters that you’ll love and hate equally!

its really effing good

although I could tell who the main villian was early on the how and the lengths they went to surprised me and kept me interested. I love that the female protagonist was able to grow into her kicka**edness and she realized that her billions didn't equate to happiness and she went after her happy. there was a teaser for a sequel and I am waiting with baited breath for the next story. this is the 2nd book by Ms. Score that I have listened to this week (unknowingly) and I will be checking out her other offrings.

Billionaire women rock!

Finally a story (series really) where women are the Billionaires or vagillionaires as they would say in the book. The Price of Scandal introduces the Bluewater Billionaires- Emily, Cam, Luna, & Daisy. This story revolves around Emily when faced with a scandal that can upend her life & career. Who pops in with a nude meet but Half Brit, Derek, who’s a fixer. Loved the banter throughout this book. Hot chemistry. Amazing friendships that will last through the series.

Stephen Dexter with a British accent? Swoon! He narrates as Derek. Natalie Duke narrates Emily. Together they do an amazing job. I found myself chuckling a lot throughout.

Such a fun listen

This was one of my favorite Lucy Score books. I loved the characters and didn’t want to ever get out of the car to stop the book!

Loved it

Oh I just loved Derek and Emily story!! Their story will keep you on the edge of you seat and keep you guessing but not about the way they feel about each other!! They have such a strong connection!! He would do anything to protect her and he knew her so well by just watching her!! He was exactly what she needed in her like!! I would recommend this book to everyone!

Grabbed me within a few chapters

After reading ‘Things, We Never Got over’ by Lucy score I was determined to find a near- replacement. Although I did not fall in love with this book as immediately as I did, the aforementioned title, by about 1/4 of the way into it, I was hooked. You will not regret this download. I liked it so much I read the audio and the hard copy whenever I could. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy good romance novels with plots, fashion, and love for New York City. The city itself is a character in this book. The performers of the audiobook did a fantastic job reading this, and keeping even the most distracted, audiobook, listener engaged.
