The voice is killing me!

Love the story, but the narrator has a subtle lisp and a robotic cadence. It’s making it really hard to enjoy this book!

Great story, reader seemed like AI

Great story, but the reader sounds like AI. Robotic. Didn’t do the story justice. Frustrating.

I’ve reread this multiple times

One of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors. A lot of feel good moments. Naturally there’s a HEA. If you haven’t read anything by Lucy before, this would be a great place to start. I personally love fake to real relationships, and this one is amazing. If you follow Lucy on Facebook you will see this is one book that her readers keep coming back to, and reading it over and over. If you don’t fall in love with Luke then you’re heartless.

This is one of my FAVORITE relistens. I love Harper and Luke so much!! The emotions in this story hit me every damn time!! I love it.

Must read/listen anticipating every possible outcome of the hero. Which one? Action packed and real life feeling’s all in one!

keeps you interested. great military love story. waiting for more. definitely worth the credit. fantastic book.

Ten Stars across the board!

This story was a barrel of emotions. Everything it promises. Words can't describe how well narrated it was and the story line about true love made it amazing. Definitely worth the credit, probably two.

Great Quick Read!

I say quick read because I finished it in a couple days a good little break from some other longer books I was listening to. The story was cute and relatable and not overly done. It is full of heartbreak and randomness from how the whole story starts in the beginning but it is a compelling love story that makes you want the characters to work out. The narration was good no problems switching characters or keeping the voices all the same. Overall a good book!

Loved this story!

I loved Luke and Harper’s story, from the moment they meet they both have instant attraction but Luke has baggage from his past that prevents him from acting on that attraction. This book put me on an emotional rollercoaster, one minute I’m laughing the next I’m crying. I love the small town aspect of Benevolence and how everyone accepted Harper. This was an amazing book even though it made me cry so many times. Melissa Moran did an amazing job narrating this book. Another 5 star read/listen from Lucy!
