Publisher's summary

After Christmas and Valentine’s Day, Elmer is back for yet another holiday experience....

Elmer Robbins has somehow managed to survive his new existence as a dungeon core, despite everything working against him. After first creating a Christmas-themed section and then a Valentine’s Day-themed series of rooms, he began to acquire enough life force from unfortunate adventurers dying inside of his dungeon, allowing him to repeatedly increase his core level. Now as he advances yet another level, he can feel the barrier inside of his core becoming thinner, which is bringing him closer to being reunited with his wife’s soul.

Unfortunately, his progress is slow, and progress is starting to become stagnant, as his dungeon isn’t as much of a draw as it once was. To encourage additional, stronger adventurers to delve through his dungeon, he needs a new attraction. As he is a holiday-themed dungeon, he has the perfect idea for a brand-new section: Easter.

But will jellybeans, chocolate eggs, marshmallow chicks, and the Easter Bunny be enough to entice a whole new quality level of adventurer? Or will it draw the wrong kind attention? It’s time for Elmer to take that gamble, otherwise he’ll never get a chance to free his Mary from her imprisonment.

Easter Core is a short novella set in a unique universe that contains litRPG and dungeon core elements such as stats and character progression. Contains no foul language, explicit sexual content, or harems.

Fantastic

I read the book already, but I find the audio adds something to the story, as long as it is unabridged.

Love these cute shorter stories

I love this series though I was hoping for a St. Patrick’s day room. I can’t help but wonder if the next room will be the 4th of July room and what kind of things will be in it. Should be pretty interesting.

Pure holiday nostalgia

Fun holiday themed book. There was a good amount of Easter nostalgia. This is definitely one of the most unique series in the genre. The narration was very well done.

Another amazing Holiday Dungeon Core novella!

Easter Core is another great addition to the Holiday Core novella series and also a nice addition to Jonathan's overall catalog. I thoroughly enjoyed the monster and room designs in this one, very reminiscent of my childhood. This book has the most life-threatening suspense and introduces a long-lost class to the system. Absolutely loved this story and recommend it and every book in the Holiday Dungeon Core series...and really every Jonathan Brooks book! Audio Version: Miles Meili never disappoints and did another great job with this title.

A great addition to the holiday series

This was seriously such a good listen. I've thoroughly enjoyed the unique blend of dungeon core elements and the associated holiday used in all three novellas. I was very lucky to get the promo code from the author himself! And I'm so glad for it, I can't express my gratitude for being able to get this one from the man himself.

But enough Wayne's World praising (We're not worthy!), let's go over my thoughts on this unique story. Not giving any spoilers so others many enjoy it as much as I did, the story was consistent with its prequel stories so far. The added element of Easter just made this series even more endearing to me, because I loved Easter for all the chocolates and peeps that I could consume as a child...which as an adult, my waistline regrets now...but it brought a smile to my face as some of the themes in the story reminded me of good times during that holiday. The ending was spectacular and only leaving me wanting more to come from this series, but like a dungeon core, I can be patient, because it's as they say: "All good things come to those who wait."

the holiday continues

As the story of Elmer continues to free his wife, there was a new bad guy. I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying this series

Good Story

Well done. Well narrated.  will be looking forward to the next in the series. You should buy this book. Still disappointed he skipped St. Paddy's Day, hoping for a future release next year.
