Publisher's summary

The Tower of Trials awaits those who desire to challenge themselves....

The Dungeon Core known as Clay had successfully trained up the local Heroes of Sunfall Island to repel the recent attack by a World Threat, but as he was beginning to prepare for the next Dungeon Adventure Season in his dungeon, something happened to bring his plans to a screeching halt.

In short, his little part of the world was unexpectedly invaded by thousands of foreign Heroes.

Now, due to a new “World Event” that involves a competition between two types of Heroes—the Hero Guilds from the mainland and the new arrivals—Clay is tasked with creating something called the Tower of Trials. This 100-Floor Tower is greater in scope than anything he’d ever created before, and according to the Event, he only has six months in which to complete it. Even more than that, the Dungeon Core needs to somehow train the massive influx of Heroes in a new way so that they are prepared for the Tower of Trials.

But how can Clay juggle his normal dungeon training and designing an entirely new Tower at the same time? Sometimes the only choice is to embrace the challenge, take some risks, and go all-in.

Note: This final book in the Serious Probabilities series contains Dungeon Core, LitRPG, and GameLit elements including dungeon construction and defense, monster summoning, character progression, and a game-like interface. In addition, many of the probabilities the world is based upon are similar to Gacha-type mechanics. Contains no profanity, harems, or explicit sexual content.

A great ending

This is a great ending with a lot of crunchiness in it If you like the other one I shall like this And the cherry on top is the story at the end

A strong finish to a medium series

The series as a whole is an interesting concept, but the author got bogged down in the numbers and it pulled away from the story. This book got me invested in the heroes, which had been difficult in the first two.
Miles Meili gave his usual performance.

the dungeon gets an upgrade

I have found this whole series interesting because of the direct and defined cooperation between the dungeon and the heroes that it is meant to train. This last book took that to a whole new level because of the tower of trials and the twists it adds to the plot. I do think it could have used more first person perspective during every phase of the book to better encompass the competition and the struggles the heroes went through to survive this book. I think the scope was just a little to large to fit that in the book. A great read.

Take a listen to the full series

I’ve not enjoyed all of the authors stories, but the Dungeon of Chance series has been my absolute favorite. The unique MC and his dragon guide are my favorite characters. The Island folk hero’s story is interesting, and seeing the heros level up along with the MC dungeon core own advancements is enjoyable!
The store isn’t too violent in detail, I would say this is something a teen or adult would enjoy. I can only hope to see this world that was built more expanded, and maybe revisit this island again…

Should have tried Jonathan Brooks earlier

Here is what happens when you get a free code for a book. Let's start with the facts that 1) this is book 3 in the series and 2) this is my first Jonathan Brooks series. This means that I had to buy the e-books for bk 1-2 to even start this one. I was also nervous about not liking a new author (new to me) and being on the hook for a review that I wasn't sure would be positive. If I don't like a book I won't give it a review at all instead of giving it a bad review.

So, here I am starting a whole new series by an author that I've heard of but never read before with the promise of a review of this book at the end. BEWARE of strangers bearing gifts! I'm hooked. I'm a fan! I've now broken my book budget for the month all because of a free audiobook code. After I finished this book I purchased 2 more series by this guy.

My apologies, you want my review not my monologuing. Buy the book, no, buy the series! You won't be disappointed. Great story with great narration and it's over 16 hrs.

Fantastic!

Great story and narration!

The Islanders are back and things are continuing to rapidly get out of hand! Having just completed killing the world threat and losing friends, they are going to have to hit the ground running as Invaders from an unknown continent appear in droves on the horizon!

Miles does a fantastic job with the narration!

I love this series and this book didn't let me down! I can't wait for more!

Steller capstone…still want more

I loved this series and the finale is great! I just want to know the rest. Lots of the groups got spots and the details are astounding 16 hours is a great audiobook and there is even more unsaid. Looking forward to a diary or even zookeeper style followup to utilize the details that came up but weren’t used this time. I recommend this series and this book very highly!

This was truly amazing

This was an excellent conclusion to the Dungeon of Chance series, but I also saw that there is an opening to another series if Jonathan Brooks would like to write it. I found that the Tower of Trails an interesting idea, what the chance of tasks and locations, even when some were uncomfortable. I liked the search and find, it reminded me of something in his Easter book. This was my favorite series of all the books I have read of his books. Keep up the good work.
