When I'm with You

By: Monica McCallan

Narrated by: Lori Prince

Kennedy Ryan and Brooke Nicholas have circled around one another for years without getting to know one another, but getting stuck together during a post-college trip is going to change that. A growing friendship, an abandoned puppy, and no one to act as a buffer between them will upend a lot of ideas they had about one another.

Kennedy finally realizes she may have only scratched the surface where Brooke is concerned, and Brooke is terrified that she's falling in love with her best friend.

Slow burn into a huge firework

I think this is by far the best Monica McCallan book I’ve read yet! The way she builds her characters is phenomenal! The development all throughout the book just pulls you in more and more. Lori Prince is the icing on the cake for it! Amazing.

Delightful

I thought this would be one of those typical romance tropes of enemies to lovers. It was so much more though. The main couple relationship grows and develops naturally although they do have help with weather and an abandoned puppy. Also I love when Lori Prince narrates. She’s a favorite!

I love happy endings

Loved the novel from start to finish. I felt very identified with Brooke. Lori Prince did great as well

Perfect slow burn cute romance

I really enjoyed this book. It was a great slow burn with not a lot of random miscommunication. It was sweet and fluffy and a great listen.

Endless angst

This was 8 1/2 hours of angst. Great performance by Lori Prince. This is about a long journey to reach romance with one momentary sex scene. Not a typical lesbian story
