Enter Rae Coleman, a former police officer working the door at one of the top comedy clubs. After getting injured in the line of duty and losing her job with the LAPD, Rae guards her wounded soul behind a tough exterior.

Good but build up too late. End of story before they get together...too long! Ok other that.

overall good story!

I loved how in depth the characters were! This had a very well thought out plot line and the characters had very realistic emotions. I liked it a lot!

Enjoyed it like I've enjoyed other of Jae's books... Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Emotionally intense

The chairacter's had district and believable voices and by the end you can really connect with what they were going through. I do thing there were a few parts that were filler and a little drawn out, but over all I would definitely recommend if you enjoy emotional depth in your books.
