great listen for long drives

love the authors work and while it has its hiccups will m. watts narration drags the listeners in!

Can’t wait to listen to the next book

The book is amazing and the narrator does a great job I can’t wait to see what happens next

Good world building, but static characters

Narrator was phenomal, but at this point I am underwhelmed by S.C. Maybe the last book will a dress it, but the MC doesn't feel unique at all and noticeably weaker in comparison to threats around him. The story and characters move along while the 'capacity' of the core group seems to stay the same. I really liked the series and it's potential. I'll have to check out the last book to see how it ends. All negativity aside: kudos to the author for still coming up with an interesting concept and world.
