Excellent

This is the second book in this series by Melanie Karsak and I’m just as intrigued as I was with the Highland series of books from the same author. I’m working on getting through the classics but can only get through one of them before coming back to this author. I hope that someday someone makes a Series or Movies from these books.

worth the read.

I laughed I cried I got angry and surprised just a little.... and cried some more. Such a great story I can't wait for more.

Great Follow Up

I really enjoyed this sequel! The narration paired with a story of a strong female sold it for me.
I love Norse mythology and I loved listening to the character's story colored by it. The narration is perfection. Lesley Parkin has such a great accent and gives each character their own unique voice.
Author Melanie Karsak continues to build a beautiful world. I enjoyed the action and fight scenes in this installment. The love story isn't overbearing and complements the lead's character.
Once again, I look forward to the next book.

Enjoyable story

As always Melanie Karsak wrote a great story that is easy to follow with wonderful world building and characters you are definitely invested in. I liked the chosen narrator, I thought she did a good job portraying the different characters. Over all I would recommend the audio.
