This is a bundle of the first three books in Melanie Karsak's Steampunk Red Riding Hood series. With each book being more novella than novel this is the optimum way to listen as it gives you much more listening time for the price.

I really love Karsak's Steampunk world full of magic and machinery.

Clemmeny is also a great protagonist. She's strong and kicks butt while still.being vulnerable and relatable.

The narrator Lesley Parkin reads wonderfully, giving the various characters unique voices.

Werewolves, vikings and Krampus, oh my!

Clemany is not your damsel in destress, she's actually an agent of the red hood society who keeps the paranormal in check in the London suburbs. Throughout the box set we hear her fantasizing about finding a man. But will she?

Wasn't quite certain what to expect from a twisted version of Red Riding Hood, but this really wasn't it. Took my chances as it was a Karsak novel and her stories have never let me down. This was no exception. In a supernatural world filled with werewolves, fae, and plenty of foes, rises a protagonist one can't help but root for. The narrator was WELL above average and never distracted from the story. Terrific reader! I loved the brief tie in with Lily Stargazer as well. So nice to get a visit from a fave heroine. This set was well worth my time. Hoping there's more of these? Melanie? Melanie??? ;)

Another wonderful adventure in the Karsak Universe

This was such a fantastic, unique, and intriguing story!! I really love how unique the whole steampunk Little Red Riding Hood is already, but add in mysterious vibes and you have this wonderfully neat story!

Fantastic, unique, intriguing!

All 3 books kept me engaged. I liked all the characters, good and evil. Action scenes were written well enough. Best were insights into how her almost adolescent inner thoughts rivaled her tough warrior life.

Just kind of adorable.
