I shouldn’t be writing this.

It’s not as if I’m ever going to send you this letter, and there are a million reasons why.

First of all, I was sent to this reform school as a punishment for a petty, totally inconsequential crime. Not to ogle the principal’s hot son around the campus.

Second of all, you’re a giant jerk. You’re arrogant and moody and so cold. Sometimes, I think I shouldn’t even like you.

The way your athletic body moves on the soccer field and the way your powerful thighs sprawl across that motorcycle of yours make me go inappropriately breathless.

But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is that you, Arrow Carlisle, are not only the principal’s hot son. You also happen to be the love of my sister’s life.

And I really shouldn’t be thinking about my sister’s boyfriend or rather fiancé (I overheard a conversation about the ring that I shouldn’t have).

Now, if I can only stop writing you these meaningless letters that I’ll never send, and you’ll never read.

Beautiful Story!

My Darling Arrow is a beautifully written forbidden romance. Salem and Arrow's story is intense, slow paced, and emotional. They are opposites attract, and they share a strong chemistry. Arrow is a perfect anti-hero, alpha, cold, arrogant, and commanding. His story intrigued me. Salem is a wonderful character. She is young, and she is unsecure. Turns out she is strong, selfless, caring, supportive, and determined. I liked her. I loved to follow them in their journey. The story is told with both POV, which is great. I love the ending. This is a beautiful story. Jason Clarke and Sarah Puckett did a great job with the narration. I read it before, and I enjoyed the audiobook version.

I can't even begin to tell how this book griped my heart. A slow BURN Rollercoaster ride. Salem has an unhealthy obsession with Arrow but, he has one with perfection and Soccer. Both Salem and Arrow are perfect for eachother. Both mentally abused by his Mom and her Sister. He's angry She's lovesick, they find comfort and understanding between the two. But will their love survive each others obsessions?

I laughed, I cried, I raged, I loved, and I listened to a bunch of sad songs ❤️ A winner of a book and on my “read again” list! I only wish this author had more audiobooks!

Good story!

I loved the voices of the narrators. They do a great job telling the story. The story itself is good but more for a teenager to read.

Witchy Heart

The first present day exchange with these two was all I needed to know that this book was going to be trouble. 😉🔥

Salem Sallinger and Arrow Carlisle are an unlikely pair, but I really enjoyed their journey, warts and all. There's the taboo - not only is he her sister's very recent ex, he's also on staff at her school - and the tortured souls, the girl who watched lovingly from afar for many years, and the guy who picked easy instead of finding the right challenge. Oh, there's also some other family drama to keep things interesting.

I like how Arrow discovers something that has been under his nose for so long and how he really takes notice. His awe is inspiring and humorous. As for Salem, I like that she doesn't let him off the hook about things but also manages to constantly cheer him on. Well, when she's not breaking the rules. 😄🥵

I will be back for more. The setup for the next book, Callie's book, ensured that. 😉

I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Sarah Puckett and Jason Clarke. Both were good choices and really enjoyable to listen to.
