Many twists and turns

You really need to pay attention because the ending isn't something you can determine easily if at all. Narration is top notch and I am enjoying the series.

Posey is amazing but some people are not what they seem. A complex mystery and always excellent

The story was okay even though it all had be explained at the end to make it understandable.

Gripping Cosy

“Murder in Venice” is the best book of Hathaway’s series to date but I question referring to it as a cosy. Usually cosies do not rely upon the level of tension that is the backbone of this book. Additionally, cosies generally put a bow on the story at the end so that the reader is looking forward to further adventures but not left hanging. Hathaway has done a terrific job hiding almost everything in plain sight. I only wish the next book in the series was ready now.
